| Investigative
Journalist David E. Hendrix, Fr. Charles Shelton, Joan and Marian
Shelton at a POW Flag Raising in Corona, California on Sept. 28,
1988 |
We
moved from CA to Texas in 1989, to Goodfellow Air Force Base in
San Angelo, TX. I kept up my POW Activist status. The Moving Wall
came to San Angelo that year. It was an opportunity to give away
POW/MIA window hangers to anyone who cared. |

| Teenager
Michael Shearer of Corona, CA organized the event. He is seen holding
the POW flag. Off to the right, in the yellow dress is Mrs. Shelton.
Next to her is Fr. Charles. I think the elderly couple are parents
of a POW/MIA who never came home. |
My
3 sweet babies (as the Texans called them) standing in front of
the Moving Wall near Col. Shelton's name. His name can be found
a little to the right of the very center, at about eye level. My
baby was named after Col. Shelton. |

| My
2nd child, Eva Marie, went with me to the POW Flag Raising in Corona,
CA on Sept. 28, 1988. We are standing with Joan Shelton, Fr. Charles,
and Marian Shelton. The Col. Shelton Arnold Air Squadron, from the
University of S. California, also attended the event. |
Marian
was my heroine. She used to tell me stories about her children when
they were babies. I was very proud to have my picture taken with
her at the Flag Raising. |
